Where does it go?

Your store shows you sales. Meta and Google each show you their own idea of results. Your bank shows whatever is left on the day you happen to look.

None of them tells you what last month actually left you. Between a sale and your account, the money passes through five hands, and each one takes a cut you rarely see added up.

  1. Sales48,200
  2. −Ad spend (Meta, Google)
  3. −Product costs
  4. −Shipping and packaging
  5. −Refunds and returns
  6. −Platform, apps, payment fees
  7. Profit?

Your numbers together, on your schedule. I do the adding up.

I connect your store, your Meta and Google ad accounts and your product costs, check every number by hand, and send you your report on the schedule you choose, monthly by default. It covers five things.

  1. Profit, against last month. Real profit after ads, product costs, shipping, refunds and fees.
  2. Profit, product by product. Which products earn and which quietly lose you money, after ads, returns and shipping.
  3. What went well. Two or three things, in plain words.
  4. What's broken. Two or three things quietly costing you money.
  5. One thing to do. A single action for the month ahead. Not a list of twenty.

3 · Went well

  • Repeat customers placed more of the orders than in August.
  • Google Shopping brought back more than it cost.

4 · Broken

  • Refunds on the linen range doubled. The size chart is the likely cause.
  • Meta retargeting spent more than it returned.
  • Shipping to Canada costs more than customers pay for it.

5 · One thing to do

Fix the linen size chart this week, then pause Meta retargeting for October.

Every number checked by hand, by me.

IV

How it works, and what I can see.

  1. 1

You give me view-only access, and your product costs once.

I send an access request for your store with view-only permissions. You add me to your Meta and Google ad accounts with read-only access, and send me your product costs once. I send short instructions for each.

  2. 2

    I build the report.

I connect your store, Meta and Google data into one place, add your product and shipping costs, and check every figure by hand before anything reaches you.

  3. 3

    You get your report.

By email on the schedule we agree, or as live reporting. Reply with any question and I answer it.

Access, in plain terms

View-only. I only ask for view permissions. I'm there to read your numbers, not to change anything.

Revocable anytime. Remove my access in your store, Meta or Google whenever you like. No notice needed.

NDA first. I sign one before I see anything.

A person checks every number. That person is me.

PriceFlexible pricing, set by your store's size and how often you want reports. Your first report, for last month, is free.
